Frisian silver commemorative spoon made by silversmith Petrus Feyens or Feyyen (Voet B 101) from Leeuwarden. This silversmith worked between 1735 and around 1751. He became a master craftsman in 1735, and a chalice, communion cup, and candlesticks from his hand have survived. Not much silver from him is known.

The spoon is crowned with a female figure holding a bird and an anchor. The bird symbolizes the soul, the anchor hope.

The master mark PF is stamped on the back of the box.

The box also bears the following inscription: S usjkon Sipkes born 5 months after his father's death Sipke Kestes.

The ring at the top of the anchor can be moved.

Weight: 69 grams. Length: 19 cm.
