Silver occasional spoon, JR Feenstra, Sneek, 1852

Silver occasional spoon made by the silversmith JR Feenstra from Sneek. He was active from 1845 to 1878.

The spoon is marked with the second grade hallmark, Minerva head, date letter S for 1852 and master hallmark JF173.

The spoon is crowned with a horse. The bowl is attached to the handle by means of a rat-tail joint.

The tray is not engraved.
