Frisian silver occasional spoon crowned with "De Hoop", depicted as a standing female figure, head turned to the left, a dove on the right hand and the left leaning on an anchor.
The spoon was made possible by the silversmith Hendrik van Manen from Sneek. (Foot 547/549) This silversmith became a master from 1764. His master's mark is a horse's head without a mane.
In addition to the master mark, the crowned O has also been rejected as a tax mark.
The spoon has the inscription on the container: KR and a later engraving: 1830
The occasional spoon is in perfect condition.
