Silver commemorative spoon, Albert Fortuyn, Hoorn, 1754

West Frisian silver occasional spoon made by silversmith Albert Fortuyn from Hoorn. Active from 1754 and died in 1811.

The spoon is crowned with a sailing ship.

On the back of the bowl the spoon is marked with the master mark Fortuna (woman with flag), year letter T for 1754, city mark Hoorn and standing lion.

The tub has a rat tail connection to the handle.

The spoon is in excellent condition.
