Frisian silver birth spoon with a ship as a crowning achievement. Made by the silversmith Allert Wijngaarden from Leeuwarden. (Foot B105) Born in 1724 and died in 1808. Master from 1748.
The spoon has been hallmarked with a bunch of grapes as a master hallmark and a tax hallmark: crowned V.
The bowl of the spoon has the inscription: To Symen Foekes Einga in memory as a deacon in Kollum 1838. The inscription was therefore added later.
