Silver birth spoon, J. Schijfsma, Sneek, 1920

Silver occasional spoon made by the silversmith J. Schijfsma from Sneek. This hallmark was used between 1911 and 1941.

The spoon is marked with the second grade hallmark, Minerva head F, date letter k for 1920 and master hallmark JS 111.

The spoon is crowned with a mill. The bowl is attached to the handle by means of a rat-tail joint.

There is an inscription on the container: G. v. Gosliga was born October 12, 1881.

The spoon is in good condition.
