Silver serving spoon with mother-of-pearl handle, FJ de Leeuw, 's-Hertogenbosch, 1874

Silver fish serving spoon with mother of pearl handle, made by the silversmith FJ de Leeuw from 's-Hertogenbosch. He was active from 1867 to 1879.

The serving dish is beautifully engraved and openwork in the Biedermeier style.

Marked with master mark FL1, second fineness mark, Minerva head and date letter P for 1874.

This is a large specimen.
