Silver fish serving spoon with mother-of-pearl handle, made by the silversmith Antonius Hendrikus der Kinderen from 's-Hertogenbosch. He was active from 1845 to 1868.
The serving dish is beautifully engraved and openwork in the Biedermeier style.
Hallmarked with master hallmark DK44, second fineness hallmark, Minerva head and date letter P for 1849.
This is a large specimen.
