Silver cutlery made by the Amsterdam silversmith Jan van Maarseveen. He was a master craftsman from 1781 to 1792.

This silversmith specialized in scooping. His father and brother were also silversmiths.

The cutlery is hallmarked with the master's mark JVM, city hallmark Amsterdam, first fineness hallmark for 934/1000 and date letter w for 1781.

The cutlery is provided with double praise.

The spoon and fork have some signs of use consistent with their age.
