Silver cutlery consisting of a fork and a spoon, possibly made by silversmith Claas van der Aa II of Rotterdam. He worked between 1768 and 1795.

Another possibility could be the silversmith Abraham Alleries from Rotterdam, who worked during the same period. Both silversmiths used the master's mark A.

The cutlery is marked with the master's mark A, the Rotterdam city hallmark, the climbing lion, and the date letter l for 1769.

Model Haags Lof with dog's nose (see Wttewaall, p. 193, model 3).

The cutlery is in used condition, in accordance with its age.
