Silver belt buckle or apron clasp, Zeeland costume, 19th century

Silver belt buckle consisting of two Goese buttons that are connected by a hook. Such buckles were worn with Zeeland traditional costume.

The belt buckle has been hallmarked twice with the sword and is therefore at least 2nd grade silver.

1 of the buttons has minor damage.
