Silver vintage brooch with Dutch coat of arms, made by the Fa. Dahlia from Amsterdam. The master hallmark was used between 1920 and 1958.
The Fa. Dahlia is a merger of C. Dal and JA Schoorl.
The brooch is marked with the master hallmark D tree S, second fineness hallmark (835/1000), Minerva head and date letter i for 1943. (in the middle of the Second World War and therefore an act of resistance)
The brooch is in excellent condition and closes securely. The closing pin is non-precious.
