Silver knitting needle holder, 19th century

^19th Century silver knitting needle holder or knitting sheath. This is provided with unclear approvals.

The right working needle was inserted into a knitting pin holder during knitting, so the needle no longer had to be held. The knitting sheath was mainly used as a support when knitting stockings.
