Silver brandy bowl, JP van der Velde / Sneek, 1778

Frisian silver brandy bowl with carved decor of cows and dogs.

Made by the silversmith Jochem Pieters van der Velde from Sneek in the year 1778 (year letter A). This silversmith worked from 1750 to 1786.

The brandy bowl has a master hallmark, year letter, city hallmark of Sneek and tax hallmark.

In excellent used condition.
