Frisian silver brandy bowl with carved decor of birds and curlicue motifs.
Made by the silversmith Johannes de Vries from Sneek in the year 1764 (year letter M). This silversmith worked from about 1738 to 1769.
The brandy bowl has a master's mark: cloverleaf (foot 539), year letter, city mark of Sneek and tax mark.
Double initials on the top edge: AE and PE.
In excellent used condition.
