Silver candlestick on Chinese porcelain dish, AH Ankum, Zaandam, 18th century

Silver candlestick from a Chinese porcelain dish from the 18th century with a silver candle holder and a snuffer.

The silver was made by the silversmith AH Ankum from Zaandam / Amsterdam, active from 1851 to 1896.

The silver is marked with master hallmark AHA, second fineness hallmark and date letter a for 1860.

The snuiter is hallmarked with master hallmark FB anvil by FW Bouscholte from The Hague, active from 1853 to 1876. It probably does not originally belong there, because it does not fit on the holder.

The finger holder that is supposed to clamp around the dish is missing one clamp.
