Silver Bible lock, RS Zijlstra / Drachten, 19th century

Silver Bible lock made by RS Zijlstra from Drachten. Active from 1835 to 1861.

The lock is finely decorated with rosettes in Empire style.

Marked with second grade mark, minerva head and master mark RZ10.

The lock is complete and can easily be reused on a book or Bible.
