Silver Bible lock, JM van Kempen / Utrecht, 19th century

Early ^19th century silver Bible lock consisting of a mute, cleat arm and attachment.

Equipped with the second quality mark and the master mark of JM van Kempen from Utrecht. He used this hallmark from 1812-1819.

The clamp arm has an inscription: JM

The clamp of the attachment is probably missing.
