Silver Bible lock, J. Kooiman / Schoonhoven, 19th century

Silver Bible lock made by J. Kooiman from Schoonhoven. Active from 1860 to 1893.

The lock is finely engraved in Biedermeier style.

Marked with second grade mark, year letter h for 1867, Minerva head and master mark JK1.

The lock is complete and can easily be reused on a book or Bible.

Weight: 12.8 grams. Dimensions: 4 x 10 cm. Center piece: 3.8 cm.
