Cast silver purse clasp, made by the silversmith Willem Doorewaard from Amsterdam. Active from 1789 to 1827. He was a small worker and specialized in purse clasps. His test piece in 1789 also consisted of a silver play clasp.
The bracket is decorated with Empire style decorations.
Hallmarked with the master hallmark WD, City hallmark Amsterdam and date letter S for 1801.
