Silver purse clasp with jasseron chain, JL van de Pauw, Schoonhoven, 1867

Silver purse bracket on a fabric bag with crocheted motif and a jasseron chain attached to it.

The bracket was made by JL van de Pauw from Schoonhoven, active from 1851 to 1908. The purse bracket has a shell decoration.

The purse bracket is marked with master hallmark IP 96, Minerva head, second fineness hallmark and year letter h for 1867.

The silver jasseron chain has a length of approx. 25 cm.

In the corner the fabric has come loose from the bracket.
