Silver cup made by the silversmith Louis Joseph Thomas (Arminjon 1:02411) from Paris. He worked from 1798 to 1822 and was known for his excellent work.
The cup has been hallmarked with the master mark LJT, 1st grade hallmark with rooster and minerva head.
The cup has a monogram with the letter RR on one side and H vd H 1817 on the other side between 2 laurel branches.
The silver cup has signs of wear (dents and cracks) which are consistent with its age.
