A silver ministry box which was used in the Roman Catholic Church for the anointing of the sick. M ade by the silversmith HFJ Kaub from Utrecht. He worked between 1918 and 1930.
Marked with maker's mark K2 and the sword (1906-1953)
The box is gilded on the inside.
The box has a pearl edge at the top and bottom. The lid is finely engraved with a plant decor.
Engraved with the text: OLEUM INFIRMORUM. (Sick Oil)
