Silver bracelet with Bible lock, van der Meulen, Joure, 17 cm

20th century silver bracelet of a Bible lock made by the silversmith Widow JH van der Meulen in Joure, active from 1958 to 1984.

Approved with the second quality mark, master mark vdM and appendix mark.

The centerpiece depicts Moses with the 10 commandments, next to it a female figure with the hat of independence and the Word as a guideline for life. Finally, a female figure with a palm branch as a sign of victory.

In excellent condition.
