Silver apostle spoon, Gebr. Dingeldein, Hanau, 1880

Silver apostle spoon with the apostle Peter as crowning. Finely worked cast stem decorated with putti and floral motifs.

Attached to the bowl by means of a rat-tail connection. The bowl is decorated with a floral motif and has the inscription: S. PETRVS and 1690.

This spoon was made in Hanau, Germany by the Gebr. Dingeldein and is hallmarked with pseudo hallmarks.
