Zeeland silver hook lock, I. de Booij, Middelburg

Antique silver hook clasp on black band worn with the Zeeland costume. Possibly made by Isaac de Booij from Middelburg, active from ca. 1775 to 1814.

It is very finely forged with filigree goldsmith work.

The lock is 2-part and both sides are hallmarked with the sword. And the master hallmark IDB (?).
