The desk calendar stands on a weighted silver base.

The silver holder contains 3 cards showing the 12 months and 4 cards showing the days.

The silver hallmarks are somewhat polished, but the letter E can still be discerned as the master hallmark and furthermore the walking lion for 1st grade silver, and the city hallmark of London.
