Knife with silver handle, J. van Leek / Leeuwarden, 18th century.

Silver knife handle on an original iron blade with Becker inscription. The handle has curling motifs and bird figures and is crowned by a rider on horseback.

The knife has been hallmarked with the master hallmark of Jan van Leek (Voet B110) from Leeuwarden, active since 1768.

The knife is in used, but good condition.
