18th Century silver knife with band decoration and a dog (sign of loyalty) as a crowning achievement.
The blade has been marked with a worn mark. However, the city hallmark of Amsterdam can be recognized (Andreas crosses) and the master hallmark IP. (see the dog's head) This probably stands for Johannes van der Pels from Amsterdam. Active from 1784 to 1801.
The steel blade with the image of a dove is original and belongs to the original knife handle.
Weight: 74.3 grams. Length: 23.5 cm.
