Holy water bottle with silver cap, Prague, 19th century

The crystal bottle is engraved all around with IHS, cross and flower and leaf motifs.

The crystal bottle has a silver thread and a silver cap and contained consecrated, holy water.

The silver is hallmarked with the dog's head 3 C. The hallmark used in the Czech Republic from 1867 to 1922. The letter C stands for Prague.

The cap has a silver rod with a cotton ball at the end.
