Bible with silver locks, W. Brandenburg / Deventer, 18th century

19th Century Bible from the publisher: Dutch Bible Company in Amsterdam, J. Brandt and son, in Haarlem, Johannes Enschede and sons from 1867.

The Bible has 2 silver locks from the ^18th century.

The silver locks were made by Willem Brandenburg (WB) from Deventer. He worked from 1742 to 1797. Furthermore, the locks have not been inspected.

The initials GT and the year 1786 are engraved on the inside of the locks.

The locks are therefore considerably older than the Bible.

The Bible is in used condition, some pages are damaged. See also the photos.
