19th-century Bible from the publisher: Dutch Bible Company in Amsterdam, J. Brandt and sons, and P. Proost in Haarlem, Johannes Enschede and sons, from 1854.
The Bible locks were made by ST Reitsma (10R) from Heerenveen/Sneek, who worked from 1859 to 1892.
The silver locks are hallmarked with the second grade hallmark, Minerva head and date letter B for 1886.
The Bible is in excellent condition, newly bound, and the locks have been professionally cleaned. See the photos for details.
