19th Century Bible from the publisher: Dutch Bible Company in Amsterdam, J. Brandt and son in Haarlem, Johannes Enschede and sons from 1867.
The Bible has 2 openwork silver locks decorated with filigree silver.
The silver clasps are hallmarked with the second grade hallmark, minerva head and year letter D for 1838.
The silver locks were made by the silversmith OH Huising (HO2) from Oude Pekela. He worked from 1834 to 1851.
The Bible is in used condition, the cover is almost loose from the block and 1 silver attachment is missing a corner. See also the photos.
