19th Century Bible from the publisher: Dutch Bible Company in Amsterdam, J. Brandt and son and P. Proost in Haarlem, Johannes Enschede and sons from 1865.
The Bible has 2 silver locks in Biedermeier style.
The Bible was made by Gebr. J. and D. Veenstra from Leeuwarden, active from 1841 to 1871.
The silver locks are hallmarked with the master hallmark V146, second grade hallmark, minerva head and year letter x for 1857.
The silver locks have been professionally cleaned and engraved on the inside with the year 1858 and the initials BJO
