19th Century Bible from the publisher: Dutch Bible Company in Amsterdam, J. Brandt and son and P. Proost in Haarlem, Johannes Enschede and sons from 1861.
The Bible has 2 silver clasps from the 18th centurycentury.
The silver locks were made by Gerrit Boomsma (G boom B) from Meppel. He worked from 1744 to 1788. Furthermore, the locks have not been inspected.
The initials JB and the year 1781 are engraved on the inside of the locks.
The locks are therefore considerably older than the Bible.
The Bible is in used, but neat condition. (Contains a restoration on the back)
