19th Century Bible from the publisher: Dutch Bible Company in Amsterdam, J. Brandt and son in Haarlem, Johannes Enschede and sons from 1870.
The Bible has 2 silver clasps in typical Biedermeier style.
The silver locks were made by the silversmith D. de Gilde Koppenol from Schoonhoven. He used this hallmark from 1883 to 1889.
The silver clasps are hallmarked with the second grade hallmark, minerva head, master hallmark GK80 and year letter E for 1889.
The initials JW and the year 1890 are engraved on the inside of the locks.
The Bible is in used condition (the spine is coming loose on one side). See also the photos.
