Bible with silver clasps, AJ Nobel / Schoonhoven, 19th century

^19th Century Bible from the publishing house: J. Brand en Zoon, P. Proost, Haarleem, Johannes Enschede and sons from 1847.

The Bible has been rebound and the locks have been professionally cleaned. This makes the Bible in excellent condition.

The silver locks were made by AJ Nobel (N99) from Schoonhoven. Active from 1864 to 1892.

The locks are further hallmarked with the second quality mark, Minerva head and year letter of 1871.

Family chronicles are written on the first pages. The cleat is engraved with 1872.
