Early 19th century Bible from the publisher: J. Brandt and son, P. den Hengst & Son, the heirs Wed. FG under the Linden in Haarlem. J. Enschede & Son from 1818, The Psalms date from 1827.
The Bible used to have 1 lock on it. This has been replaced by a double lock. The locks are late 18th or early 19th century. The locks have not been inspected.
The four evangelists (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) are depicted on the mutineers and attachments. The high priest stands on both cleats
The Bible is bound in a red morocco binding with gold print.
The cleats have initials and 1822 engraved on them.
