19th Century Bible from the publisher: Dutch Bible Company in Amsterdam, J. Brandt and son, and P. Proost in Haarlem, Johannes Enschede and sons from 1865.
The silver Bible lock in Biedermeier style was made by A. Nobel (AN98) from Schoonhoven. He worked from 1852 to 1864.
The silver lock has been hallmarked with the second quality hallmark, master hallmark and miner's head.
The initials LHK are engraved on the inside of the cleat.
Family records are included on the last pages of the Bible. It's about the Family. Boersma, family. Kingma.
The Bible is in used condition and is missing a number of pages at the beginning. A piece of the attachment is also missing. See also the photos.
