Antique silver hat pins, Friesland, 19th century

Silver hat pins worn with the traditional costume of Friesland. Provided with a scalloped edge and both set with a cut stone.

The cap pins were placed right next to the books/buttons above the ear iron.

Dating ca. 1880.

Approved with the Dutch sword.

Weight: 2.45 grams. Length: 10.5 cm. Diameter head: 1.4 cm.
