Antique gold hat pins, traditional costume, 19th century

Gold faceted hat pins or hair pins worn with the (Zeeland) traditional costume in the Netherlands.

The cap pins were inserted right next to the books/buttons at the top of the ear iron.

Dating ca. 1880 - 1900.

Hallmarked with the Dutch oak leaf for 14 carat gold and a difficult to read master hallmark.

Weight: 3.2 grams. Length: 7 cm. Diameter head: 1.3 cm.
