At the time the spoons were made, Krakow still belonged to the Habsburg Empire. That is why the hallmarks fall under the Austrian system.

The spoons are hallmarked with the Krakow city hallmark and the year 1856, also 12 for 12 loth, (content: 750/1000) and the silversmith's master hallmark Blich.

The city hallmark was declined in the period from 1835 to 1858.
