2 silver bottle rings made by the silversmith F. Webb Ltd of Birmingham.

F. Webb Ltd (Birmingham), better known by the name of its founder Francis Webb, was a renowned British silver and pen manufacturer in Birmingham's famous Jewellery Quarter.
The company was very active during the late Victorian and Edwardian eras. They were known for their sophisticated, handcrafted silverwork:
  • Stationery: Gold and silver propelling pencils (early mechanical pencils) and fountain pens.
  • Accessories: Silver toothpicks (often with gemstones such as amethyst), cigarette holders and pocket knives.
  • Domestic silver: Silver scissors, napkin rings and fruit knives.
These two bottle rings are hallmarked with the lion passant for sterling silver, maker's mark F.W., year letter V for 1920 and the Birmingham assay mark, the anchor.

They are both in good condition.

Weight: 5.2 grams. Diameter: 4 cm.
