Bible locks and their different styles, Louis 16th style. Approx. 1775-1800

After the exuberant rococo style of Louis XV, a return to classicism followed, which means: the straight lines returned. The Louis XVI style is sober and symmetrical and is characterized by classic decorations such as garlands, flowers and vases. The locks below are a nice example from this style period. Made by the silversmith:
